THE ISSUE:

Instructors manage a lot of information and student work in basic language courses.

Consequently, they need an overview of everything that is happening on any given day - what has been done, what hasn't been done, and what needs to be done!

MyLanguageLabs SOLUTION:

Today's View (Instructor view)

Instructors receive a snapshot overview of everything that is happening in their course on that day at that minute!

Here, for example, an instructor has chosen to view an "Alert" which informs them which students have not entered the course at all within the last week. Directly from this screen, instructors can send their students a message or go to the student's gradebook and see where they stand.
There are many options available for detailed viewing, such as homework assignments needing instructor grading, students who have not received a passing grade on their homework assignments, etc.
The calendar gives instructors a snapshot overview of when they have made assignments for the course. With one click, they can go directly to the assignments for the day and view details.

Students also receive a relevant Today's View of notifications.
